A young East Kilbride singer has been put on the sex offenders register for a year after molesting and stalking a student.

Jay Malley was also handed a one-year non-harassment order after appearing at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

The 21-year-old admitted sexually assaulting a male at an address in East Kilbride and elsewhere on various occasions between August 1 last year and February 10.
