JAMIE JUSTICE WORCESTER SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED AFTER ABUSIVE MESSAGE TO POLICE OFFICER

In a case that has drawn significant attention in Worcester, Jamie Justice, a 33-year-old known for his troubling past, was ordered by a local court to attend anger management classes following an incident involving an obscene and threatening voicemail message directed at a police officer.

Justice, who previously ran as a UKIP candidate in Worcester under the name Jason Phillips before converting to Islam and adopting the name Abdullah Nasser Jihad, has a documented history of criminal behavior. In March, he admitted to possessing two indecent images of children on his computer, which led to his registration as a sex offender for a period of five years.

The incident that brought Justice back into the spotlight occurred on October 5, when Detective Constable Amanda Walker of West Mercia Police was assigned to contact him as part of her investigation. Det Con Walker had been the lead officer in the case concerning Justice’s possession of child abuse images before being transferred to the offender management team. According to court reports, she obtained Justice’s mobile number from his father and made several attempts to reach him via phone.

On her initial call, she left a message for Justice, but when she did not receive a response, she tried again. It was during this second attempt that she heard Justice’s new voicemail message, which was both obscene and abusive. In the message, Justice called her a liar and told her to go away, using explicit language. He also stated that anyone else trying to contact him should leave a message, effectively dismissing her efforts to communicate.

The court was informed that Justice had previously been cautioned by police for sending “vile” messages on Facebook to the family of a woman with whom he was having an affair. It was during the police investigation into this Facebook abuse that authorities uncovered the indecent images of children, which contributed to his criminal record.

Prosecutor Matt Dodson outlined the case, emphasizing Justice’s aggressive response to police contact. The defense, represented by Sam Lamsdale, acknowledged that Justice was angry about being contacted again by Det Con Walker and admitted that the offensive message was intended to offend her specifically.

Judge Jane Smith, presiding over the Worcester Magistrates Court, responded to Justice’s behavior by ordering him to attend anger management classes, highlighting the seriousness with which the court viewed his conduct and past offenses. The case underscores ongoing concerns about the management and rehabilitation of sex offenders within the community, especially those with a history of aggressive and abusive behavior towards law enforcement officials.
