October 2019 Pervert sexually assaulted woman A former pizza delivery driver has been sentenced after he sexually abused a woman in Poole. Ionut-Adrian Ciocirlan, 27 of Poole, was convicted of two sexual assault offences on Thursday 15 August 2019 following a trial at Bournemouth Crown Court. He was sentenced at the same court on Thursday 26 September 2019 and handed a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years, ordered to comply with a three-month curfew between 7pm and 4am and told he would be placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years. He was also ordered to pay a £140 victim surcharge and £1,000 compensation. On Sunday 17 September 2017 Ciocirlan was working as a delivery driver at Papa Johns on The Broadway in Broadstone. He approached his victim, who was aged in her late teens, and sexually assaulted her by groping her breasts. He then forced his victim into a room, pulled her trousers down and further sexually assaulted her. The victim, who knew Ciocirlan, managed to get away. She told a friend and then reported the offence to Dorset Police three days later. Ciocirlan was arrested at his home address on Friday 22 September 2017.
