IBRAHIM HUSSAIN FROM BRADFORD SENTENCED TO 23 YEARS FOR ABUSE AND SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF GIRLS
In a harrowing case that has shocked the community of Bradford, Ibrahim Hussain, aged 35, has been sentenced to a total of 23 years in prison after being found guilty of multiple heinous crimes involving the abuse and exploitation of young girls. The court heard how Hussain, a resident of Woodcross Court in Little Horton, engaged in a series of predatory acts that targeted vulnerable minors, culminating in a series of brutal assaults and a disturbing scheme to facilitate the sexual exploitation of a 12-year-old girl.
According to court records, Hussain’s criminal activities began to surface in September 2016 when he initiated contact with a 16-year-old girl via Facebook.
The teenager had posted a message asking if anyone was “coming out,” and Hussain, despite being twice her age, sought to impress her by sharing a photograph of his car and making delusional promises of a meeting with someone special.
Instead of genuine connection, his intentions were far more sinister.
The girl recounted that Hussain picked her up from Great Horton Road and took her to Keighley, where he supplied her with alcohol and drugs before sexually assaulting her while she sat in his vehicle.
Hussain was subsequently charged and released on bail by the police.
However, while still under bail conditions, he committed further crimes.
In July of the following year, Hussain abducted a 12-year-old girl from Horton Park in Bradford.
He held her at a property in Bradford for two days, during which he raped her twice.
The court was told that Hussain’s actions were part of a broader pattern of grooming and exploitation.
The judge, David Hatton QC, emphasized that Hussain had manipulated the girl into developing some affection for him, exploiting her vulnerable state and unstable home environment for his own gratification.
After the initial assaults, Hussain arranged for five men to have sex with the same girl at a flat in Leeds.
The court described these men as “a pack of ravenous wolves,” highlighting the brutal and predatory nature of the acts.
Hussain’s role in orchestrating this exploitation was a key factor in the severity of his sentence, as the court recognized that he profited financially from these heinous acts.
The judge condemned Hussain’s actions, stating that the effects on the young girl had been profound.
She had undergone extensive medical examinations and, unsurprisingly, had lost confidence in male company.
The court acknowledged that Hussain’s selfish and predatory behavior had potentially destroyed her future, leaving her with lasting trauma.
The judge expressed hope that she would recover, but warned that only time would tell.
Following a trial, Hussain was convicted of nine separate offences, including multiple counts of sexual assault and child exploitation.
His sentences included six months for the initial sexual assault, and three separate 15-year terms for the rapes, which are to be served concurrently.
Additionally, he received a sentence of seven and a half years for arranging or facilitating child sexual exploitation.
The total combined sentence amounts to 23 years in prison.
The court also ruled that Hussain will serve half of his sentence before being considered for parole by the Parole Board, reflecting the seriousness of his crimes and the need for ongoing monitoring and assessment of his rehabilitation prospects.
