IAIN ELRICK FROM BIRMINGHAM SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN BROMSGROVE AND WORCESTER

In a case that has shocked the local community, Iain Elrick, a man residing in Birmingham, has been convicted and sentenced to prison for heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse of a young girl.

The incident, which took place over several years, was brought to light after the victim, now an adult, reported the abuse in June 2017.

She revealed that the abuse had begun when she was under 13 years old and persisted for an extended period, causing significant trauma.

Elrick, aged 44 and living on Kitwell Road in Birmingham, faced a jury at Worcester Crown Court.

The court found him guilty on all nine counts related to his criminal conduct.

These charges included causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity with another child, paying for sexual services involving a minor, and engaging in sexual activity with a child.

Following the verdict, the court sentenced Elrick to eight years in prison.
