HERBERT MOSS FROM MANSFIELD JAILED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE AND INDECENT EXPOSURE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the Mansfield community, Herbert Robert Keith Moss, aged 71, has been sentenced to prison for his heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse of a young child and the indecent exposure of another minor.Moss, who previously resided on Edmonton Road in the town of Mansfield, was brought to justice after a series of alarming incidents that came to light in 2012.
His criminal activities came to public attention in May 2012 when he was observed exposing himself to a child in a public setting.
The incident was witnessed by an adult who immediately reported the matter to the police, prompting a swift investigation.
During the course of the inquiry, authorities uncovered evidence that Moss had also sexually assaulted another child, revealing a pattern of predatory behavior that had gone unnoticed for some time.
Following his arrest in May 2012, detectives from Nottinghamshire Police delved deeper into his background and activities.
The investigation confirmed that Moss had committed multiple offenses, including two counts of sexual assault on a child and one count of indecent exposure involving a different young victim.

On Monday, January 13th, at Nottingham Crown Court, Moss was formally sentenced for his crimes.

He failed to do that and initially went on to deny what he had done.
