Febuary 2011 Sussex paedophile abducted teenage girls A man met schoolgirls on Facebook and then groomed them for sex with exotic trips abroad. Harold Geer, known as Harry, abducted girls aged 14 and 15. He took one girl to Naples in Italy and arranged to take the other to Gibraltar – until the authorities intervened. He also drove young lovers around in a Mercedes car and showered them with gifts. Now Geer, 22, has been deemed a danger to the public and jailed for five years at Lewes Crown Court. Geer, of East Beech Road, Crowborough, was convicted of one count of inciting a child under the age of 16 to engage in sexual activity, four of having sexual activity with a child under the age of 16, two of abduction and one of making an untrue statement to procure a passport. He was also made the subject of a Sex Offenders’ Order and was told to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register.
