MAN JAILED FOR NON-RECENT CHILD SEXUAL ASSAULT OFFENCES
A man has been sentenced to prison for multiple historic child sexual offences committed in Slough.
Raymond Rackley, age 78 and of Pennine Road, Slough, received an 18-year jail term at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday, December 10.
After a trial lasting seven days at the same court, a jury unanimously convicted Rackley on three counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, four counts of indecent assault, and two counts of indecency with a child.
The offences involved sexual abuse inflicted on the victim several times during the 1990s, when they were a child.
Rackley voluntarily participated in an interview on March 9, 2023, and was formally charged on December 3, 2024.
