ALFORD PENSIONER CONVICTED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING REFLEXOLOGY CLIENT
George Taylor, aged 83, has been added to the sex offenders register after being found guilty of sexual assault following a nine-day trial at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.He was convicted of assaulting a woman during a reflexology appointment in early 2025 at his cottage in Strathlunach, near Alford.
During the proceedings, the court was informed that Taylor was receiving foot treatment from the woman when he began performing a sex act on himself and then grabbed her.
The victim recounted how Taylor’s conduct became increasingly inappropriate, including touching her in a sexual manner, trying to place her hand between his legs, and forcibly kissing her.
The court regarded her testimony as truthful and trustworthy.
Sheriff Joseph Platt sentenced Taylor to an order of community payback, which includes a 12-month supervision period, registered him as a sex offender for one year, and issued a non-harassment order lasting three years.
Taylor denied committing the sexual assault, asserting that he only kissed the woman on the cheek and that mental health struggles contributed to his behavior.
The court highlighted that he posed a risk to women, and the victim advised women to remain cautious around him.
