Aberdeenshire Man Guilty of Sexual Assault on 13-Year-Old Boy

ABERDEENSHIRE MAN GUILTY OF SEXUAL ASSAULT ON 13-YEAR-OLD BOY

A man named Connor Harrison, aged 28, was involved in a serious criminal incident near Lumsden in Alford, Aberdeenshire.

According to court reports, Harrison approached a 13-year-old boy while lurking outside Lumsden Primary School, engaging in suspicious behavior that included staring at the child's groin and making inappropriate compliments about his legs.

After initiating a conversation, the man led the boy into nearby woods, where he continued to act strangely, exposing his stomach, touching his own legs, and ultimately stroking the boy's thigh.

The victim, feeling scared and uncertain, managed to escape when a friend arrived.

Following the incident, the boy's mother was informed, and police were contacted.

Harrison was traced, arrested, and during police caution, he claimed to be "confused" and admitted to asking the boy to touch his legs, stating he felt very uncomfortable and feared the situation.

He also expressed that he thought it was "a bit of a mistake".

Harrison pled guilty to a charge of sexual assault and was ordered by Sheriff Lesley Johnston to be supervised for 18 months and to be placed on the sex offenders register for the same duration.

The court recognized his mental health vulnerabilities with a psychiatric report discussed during sentencing.
