FLORIN SUTA AND SHOCKING STABBING IN HIGH WYCOMBE, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

A man has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in a violent assault that took place in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Florin Suta, aged 41 and residing on Green Street in High Wycombe, was convicted of stabbing another man in the back during a violent altercation.

The incident has garnered significant attention due to the severity of the attack and the circumstances surrounding it.

Suta pleaded guilty to multiple charges at a hearing held at Aylesbury Crown Court on September 7.

These charges included one count of Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and failing to comply with notification requirements, which are mandatory for registered sex offenders.

Following the guilty plea, the court sentenced Suta to four years in prison on December 1.

Additionally, he will be on licence for two years after his release, meaning he will be subject to supervision and certain restrictions during that period.

The violent incident occurred late at night, around 11:50 pm on July 14, on Green Street.

According to reports, a confrontation involving several individuals escalated into violence.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the victim, a man in his thirties, suffering from a stab wound to his back.

Witnesses and members of the public quickly identified Suta as the attacker and informed officers that he was in possession of a knife.

This led to his immediate arrest.

CCTV footage played a crucial role in establishing the sequence of events.

The footage revealed that as the victim was leaving an address along Green Street, Suta emerged from an alleyway nearby and stabbed him once in the back.

The victim managed to escape from the scene, but Suta pursued him along the street.

During the pursuit, Suta lost his footing and fell over, which ultimately prevented him from causing further harm.

Following his arrest, police officers conducted a search and discovered that Suta had been residing at an address different from the one he had initially provided to authorities.

It was also found that he had failed to notify the police of his change of address, which is a legal requirement for registered sex offenders.

This oversight led to additional charges being brought against him the following day.

Detective Constable Will Blundell of South Buckinghamshire CID commented on the case, stating, “Suta attacked the victim with a knife in a targeted assault with the intent to cause injury.

He then pursued the victim, who was fleeing from him, and was only stopped from inflicting further harm when he fell over.

Suta remained in possession of the knife during the incident and showed no remorse when he called the police afterward.

Fortunately, a large number of members of the public came out onto the street due to the disturbance, and no other individuals were injured as Suta continued walking along the road armed with the weapon before officers arrived.”
