BUCKINGHAMSHIRE MAN FINED FOR ILLEGAL HUNTING AFTER TIKTOK VIDEOS
A man has been sentenced after police uncovered videos showing him illegally hunting wildlife on TikTok.After an investigation by PC Akers of the Rural Crime Taskforce, the individual was convicted on three charges of hunting wild mammals using dogs in Buckinghamshire, covering the period from September to November 2024.
Police acted after being alerted on November 6, 2024, that someone was posting recordings of illegal hunting activities on TikTok.
The Taskforce’s intelligence unit then identified the suspect.
The man was arrested in the Slough area on December 13, 2024.
During a house search, officers found evidence related to illegal hunting activities.
The defendant initially pleaded not guilty at High Wycombe Magistrates Court but changed his plea to guilty on August 15, 2025.
He was convicted of three counts of hunting wild mammals with dogs.
He incurred a fine of £2,044 for the offences, with the total amount including court fees reaching £3,112.
The dogs involved in the hunting are no longer under his care.
