A rapist described as 'dangerous and predatory' who assaulted and strangled four teenage girls was identified publicly following his 18th birthday.
Egan Ritchie, aged 18, received a seven-year prison sentence after committing his violent attacks at age 15 in 2019.
Due to his age at the time, his identity was protected by legal restrictions.
Residing in the Dreghorn and Crosshouse areas, Ritchie was convicted of nine charges, including assault, rape, and threatening behavior, and was ordered to serve time in custody.
During the High Court proceedings, it was revealed he targeted four girls at various locations around Ayrshire near his residence.
One victim was throttled so fiercely that she lost consciousness and believed she was going to die.

Ritchie maintained his innocence throughout the trial but was found guilty late last year.
