EDWARD KENT CAUGHT IN BRIGHTON FOR 16 INCIDENTS OF INDECENT EXPOSURE IN PRESTON PARK AND SURROUNDINGS
In a significant development in local crime enforcement, Edward Kent, a 27-year-old man residing on The Drove in Brighton, has been apprehended by authorities following a series of disturbing incidents involving indecent exposure.Over a span of more than two years, Kent was responsible for exposing himself to teenage girls on 16 separate occasions across various locations within Brighton, primarily in Preston Park.
On Tuesday, January 15, Kent was detained by prevention officers after reports emerged that he had exposed himself to two young girls while they were walking through Preston Park.
The reports prompted a swift police response, leading to his arrest and subsequent investigation into his activities.
It was revealed that Kent's indecent acts took place between November 1, 2016, and January 10, 2019.
His offending locations included not only Preston Park but also other well-known areas such as Dyke Road Drive, Braybon Avenue, and Blakes Park.

Following his arrest, Edward Kent appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 17.
