May 2021 Paedophile, 73, locked up for more than five years for string of sex offences against underage boy An elderly paedophile has been jailed after committing a string of child sex offences. David Stanwick carried out the sickening crimes against an underage boy. The 73-year-old was accused of three counts of causing or inciting a boy to engage in penetrative sexual activity and one charge of sexual activity with a boy under 16. He also faced two further allegations of engaging in sexual activity in the prescence of a child under 16. Stanwick, of Belgrave Street, Darlington, pleaded not guilty to all six charges. However he was found guilty by a jury on March 29, following a trial at Teesside Crown Court. Stanwick was also ordered to abide by a sexual harm prevention order and sign the sex offenders register indefinitely.
