DAVID MAGEE SENTENCED TO 31 MONTHS IN BRADFORD FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF YOUNG GIRL
A pensioner described as a pervert has been sentenced to 31 months in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing a young girl.David Magee, aged 65 and of no fixed address, was convicted at Bradford Crown Court on three counts of sexually assaulting a child under 13, as well as a charge of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Magee was sentenced via a video link to Leeds Prison, where he is currently being held on remand.
Following the sentencing, an NSPCC spokesperson commented: "Magee’s actions are truly reprehensible—showing a callous disregard for a young victim who will need substantial support to recover." The NSPCC also urged anyone who has experienced sexual abuse to come forward and seek assistance, emphasizing that victims will be listened to and that predators like Magee can be brought to justice.
