DANIEL LEE COLEMAN SENTENCED TO FOUR AND A HALF YEARS IN CARLISLE FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST A CHILD
A man has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
Daniel Lee Coleman, aged 30, received the sentence at Carlisle Crown Court today.
Coleman had previously admitted to three counts of sexual activity with a child under the age of 16.
The offences took place in late 2013 and early 2014.
Judge Peter Hughes QC pronounced the verdict, stating the sentence.
Coleman, of Rydal Street, Carlisle, is now also subject to a sexual harm prevention order and has been placed on the sex offenders' register indefinitely.
Furthermore, Coleman's case will be reported to independent safeguarding authorities as part of the ongoing safeguarding protocols.
