DANIEL FISHER FROM EVESHAM ESCAPES PRISON AFTER SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING TEENAGERS AND ADULT WOMEN

In a recent case heard at Worcester Crown Court, Daniel Fisher, a 21-year-old man from New Street, Bretforton, near Evesham, was involved in a series of disturbing incidents that have garnered significant attention. Fisher’s actions included exposing himself to two teenage girls and engaging in inappropriate behavior that caused them considerable fear and distress.

The first incident occurred on July 16 of the previous year, when Fisher targeted two 15-year-old girls at Waterside, Evesham. According to reports, he approached the girls near a brook, deliberately drawing attention to himself by speaking to them in a manner that was clearly intended to intimidate. After exposing himself, Fisher continued to follow the girls on his bicycle, shouting lewd comments such as, “You know you want it,” in an apparent attempt to further harass them. The girls, frightened by his behavior, managed to identify him later through a police identity parade, which confirmed his involvement in the incident.

In addition to this, Fisher was found to have engaged in inappropriate conduct with a 30-year-old woman walking along Waterside. He approached her and asked if she wanted sex, to which she responded by mentioning her husband. Fisher then walked away but was later identified by the woman to the police. These incidents highlight a pattern of disturbing behavior directed at both minors and adults.

Further compounding his criminal record, Fisher had previously befriended a 12-year-old girl two years prior. He lured her into nearby bushes where he committed an indecent assault, an act that added to the seriousness of his offenses. Following his arrest, Fisher admitted to two charges of outraging public decency, which led to his being registered as a sex offender.

During the court proceedings, prosecutor William Rickarby detailed Fisher’s actions and the impact on the victims. The court heard that Fisher’s behavior was not only inappropriate but also indicative of underlying issues with his sexuality. Judge Anthony King, presiding over the case, sentenced Fisher to a three-year period of community rehabilitation. The judge emphasized that Fisher must attend a sex offenders’ treatment program as part of his rehabilitation process.

Judge King also issued strict conditions to prevent future offenses, including a prohibition on any child under 16 from residing at Fisher’s new address in Ashford, Middlesex, and a ban on his involvement with any organization that could bring him into contact with children of similar age. Fisher, from the dock, acknowledged his need for help, stating, “I obviously need help with this.”

The court’s decision reflects the seriousness of Fisher’s offenses, which have caused significant concern within the community of Evesham. The case underscores the importance of ongoing monitoring and treatment for individuals with a history of sexual offenses to prevent further harm to the public.
