COLIN LEMIN OF BLACKPOOL SENTENCED TO OVER 20 YEARS FOR YEARS OF SEXUAL ABUSE ON YOUNG GIRL
In a case that has shocked the community of Blackpool, Colin Lemin, a 62-year-old man residing on New South Promenade, has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after being convicted of a series of heinous sexual offenses committed against a young girl.The sentencing took place at Preston Crown Court on Thursday, January 12, following a detailed trial that uncovered years of disturbing abuse.
According to court records and victim testimony, the abuse began in the early to mid-1990s, when the young girl was still a child.
The victim, who came forward in 2019, recounted that she had been subjected to repeated assaults by Lemin over an extended period.
The assaults reportedly occurred at various locations, including addresses in Blackpool, Rochdale, and Greater Manchester, highlighting the widespread nature of the offender’s predatory behavior.
