CLIVE MANDIVENGA JAILED IN BIRMINGHAM FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT ON BUS
A man from Birmingham, Clive Mandivenga, has been sentenced to prison after sexually assaulting a woman aboard a bus.
Mandivenga, 28, was convicted at Birmingham Magistrates Court following his admission to the offence that took place on the route from Handsworth to the city centre.
He was swiftly identified by officers from Safer Travel and subsequently arrested.
Mandivenga, residing on Princip Street in Birmingham, received a sentence of 17 weeks in prison for the assault that occurred on 11 November.
Safer Travel Manager Inspector Ivan Merc commented on the case, stating: "All sexual offences are traumatic and we welcome the news of this sentencing."
