CLIFFORD COOK OF MIDDLESBROUGH PLEADS GUILTY TO CHILD AND ANIMAL PORNOGRAPHY OFFENSES IN SEPTEMBER 2017
In September 2017, Clifford Cook, a 56-year-old from Middlesbrough, was found guilty of possessing indecent images of children and extreme animal pornography.
The court ordered Cook to immediately register as a sex offender, with the judge instructing him to inform the police of any change in his address or bank details.
Cook admitted to four internet-related pornography offenses committed between September of the previous year and January of this year.
His guilty plea included two charges of creating 16 images classified as the most serious Category A, eight images at Category B, one involving extreme pornography, and possession of 268 extreme pornographic images.
Represented by defender Gary Wood, Cook was granted bail to allow for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 12.
