TRUSTED MASSEUSE TURNED SEXUAL PREDATOR JAILED FOR ABUSING CLIENTS
A sports massage therapist known as a 'trusted and skilled' masseuse has been exposed as a sexual predator.
Chrosphero Caballero, aged 38, who operated his own sports massage business, was convicted of sexually assaulting multiple clients over several years.
The court heard that he manipulated his victims by building their confidence in his professional skills before abusing his position.
He was found guilty of five counts of sexual assault by a jury at Liverpool Crown Court and was sentenced to four years in prison.
During the trial, prosecutor David Polglase detailed how Caballero attacked four women between 2018 and 2022, including placing his hands inside one victim's underwear while playing romantic music, abusing another during massage visits, forcing his tongue into a patient's mouth, and touching another woman's intimate areas during a massage.
Defense lawyer Gemma Maxwell highlighted Caballero's previous good character and his efforts to support Ukrainian refugees and his family.
The judge, Ian Harris, condemned Caballero's actions, noting that he had hidden a 'sexually predatory side' beneath his professional facade.
Caballero, who continues to work as a masseuse, was ordered to register as a sex offender for life, and a future hearing may impose further restrictions, such as banning him from practicing therapy with lone females.
