Colin Walker, aged 68 and residing on Church Road in Tranmere, received a 10-year prison sentence at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday.
The court heard that Walker had targeted four victims over a period of approximately 25 years, beginning when they were as young as five years old.
Walker had previously confessed to two charges of sexual assault involving a child under 13, as well as causing a child to participate in sexual activities.
A jury found him guilty of an additional 12 charges, including 4 counts of assault by penetration and 2 counts of indecent assault.
He was sentenced to 10 years behind bars, with an extra 12 months on extended licensing.
Additionally, he was issued a lifelong sexual harm prevention order, indefinite restraining orders, and will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
