BRADFORD PREDATOR JAILED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF TEENAGE GIRL
A man named Christopher Lawson has been sentenced to three years and three months in prison after confessing to sexually assaulting a teenage girl, aged 17 at the time of the attack.The assault took place in Bradford, and Lawson was also put under an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, with a requirement to register as a sex offender.
Bradford Districts Child Safeguarding Unit’s Detective Sergeant Samantha Swift expressed her approval of the sentence, noting that Lawson is considered a threat to children.
She praised the victim’s bravery in reporting the crime and promoted awareness for others to come forward, emphasizing that law enforcement provides ongoing support and advice.
