BLACKBURN PAEDO JAILED AFTER DISTRIBUTING CHILD ABUSE IMAGES
A man with an "addiction to pornography" who shared graphic sexual images of children with "like-minded individuals" has been jailed.
Hodgson, 50, distributed disturbing images through group chats on Kik, also discussing sexual fantasies with these individuals.
Judge Paul Hodgkinson described Hodgson as having a "perverted sexual interest in female children." He was found in possession of indecent and extreme pornographic images, including 18 category A images (12 videos), 17 category B images (7 videos), and 47 category C images (1 video).
Prosecutor David Clarke noted the images primarily showed females aged between nine and 12, and Hodgson distributed 17 images under the pseudonym Lordy Lord.
Police seized devices from Hodgson's home, discovering these images and others.
Hodgson admitted possessing the images but answered no comment regarding his participation in sharing them.
He was sentenced to two years and four months in custody, with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and registration on the sex offenders' register for the same period.
