NOTTINGHAM COUPLE AND SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE AND SEXUAL OFFENSES
A man from Nottingham, identified as Christopher Binch, has been sentenced for crimes involving the sexual abuse of a minor and the online sharing of indecent material.
The 36-year-old was detained following discussions concerning his sexual interest in children, as well as the uploading of objectionable content to an online group.
Binch admitted to ten charges, which included sexually assaulting a child under 13, possessing and distributing indecent images of minors, viewing extreme pornography, and possessing cocaine.
His prison sentence totals eight years and one month, and he has been ordered to be on the sex offenders' register for life.
Additionally, he has received an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
His partner, 34-year-old Lindsay Mobey, also pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a child under 13 and was sentenced to two years and one month in prison, with a five-year requirement to register as a sex offender.
