BRADFORD PERVERT CARL HOLT SENTENCED FOR CHILD INDECENT IMAGES
In March 2019, a disturbing case involving Carl Holt, a resident of Bradford, came to light when he was found to possess and produce indecent images of children.Holt, aged 24 and living on Harrogate Road in Eccleshill, faced serious charges after authorities uncovered his involvement in creating and storing illicit material depicting child abuse.
According to court reports, Holt admitted to making three Category A videos and nine Category C photographs that depicted children being subjected to sexual abuse.
In addition to these videos and images, police discovered a total of 103 prohibited images on his computer, 20 of which were videos.
The investigation was initiated after an indecent image was uploaded from Holt’s IP address in Bradford, prompting a police inquiry.
Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Holt’s residence, where they seized his computing equipment for examination.
A thorough analysis of his digital devices revealed the disturbing content.
Prosecutor Peter Adams detailed the findings to Bradford Crown Court, emphasizing the severity of the material.
One of the videos showed the oral rape of a girl estimated to be between six and eight years old, who appeared to show signs of discomfort during the act.
Other videos depicted the full sexual assault of young children, with ages ranging from one to 14 years old.
Further investigation uncovered that the 103 prohibited images were computer-generated animations, illustrating acts of penetration involving young children.

Adams clarified that there was no evidence of systematic searches or organized storage of these images, although some had been deleted, indicating an attempt to conceal the material.
During sentencing, Judge Jonathan Rose addressed Holt directly, emphasizing the gravity of his actions.
He stated, “You bear responsibility for the abuse of the children in these images.
Viewing such material is a reflection of a market for this sickening content, and you are part of that market.
If there was no demand, these children would not be subjected to such abuse.” Judge Rose further explained that Holt’s actions, although not involving direct contact with children, posed a significant risk of future harm.
“This is your first offense, and some might argue you deserve prison,” he said.
“However, this sentence aims to provide treatment to help you cease having a sexual interest in children.
Without intervention, there is a danger you could escalate to physically abusing children.” As part of his sentence, Holt was given a two-year community order, which includes 90 days on a Sexual Offending Behaviour Programme.
He was also ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work, to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for five years, and to be subject to a sexual harm prevention order with no fixed end date.
Judge Rose concluded by warning Holt that failure to comply with these conditions could result in imprisonment, emphasizing the importance of protecting the community from future offenses.
