MIDDLEWICH SEX OFFENDER SOLD CRACK FROM CARAVAN WHILE ON RUN
A fugitive sex offender from Middlewich, Callum Lord, was found in a caravan up a farm track dealing crack cocaine while on the run.
Police discovered his mobile home hideout on June 26 of last year, where they found white powder and crystals, £450 in cash, scales, snap bags, and cut ends of plastic bags.
He was caught after police acted on intelligence about his drug dealing in the Middlewich area, tracing him to a farm near Church Minshull.
Lord had been wanted for breaching his bail conditions and failing to attend court for two breaches of a sexual harm prevention order made against him on May 4, 2022.
Police also found two mobile phones in the caravan.
A drugs expert confirmed the white crystals were crack cocaine.
When arrested, Lord admitted his addiction and claimed the drugs belonged to him.
He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs before magistrates on September 18, and was sentenced to two years and eight months at Chester Crown Court on November 4.
The judge ordered the drugs to be destroyed and the cash to be forfeited, to be used in the fight against drug crime.
