BRADFORD SEX OFFENDER BRADLEY ASHTON-FEARNLEY SENTENCED FOR CHILD INDECENT IMAGES AND BREACHES
A man from Bradford has been handed a five-year prison sentence after admitting to serious violations of a sexual harm prevention order and the production of indecent photographs involving a minor.
Bradley Ashton-Fearnley, who is also known by the alias Trevor Emmett, appeared before Bradford Crown Court on Wednesday, May 21, where he pleaded guilty to a total of nine charges.
These included seven counts of creating indecent images of a child and two counts of breaching a court-imposed sexual harm prevention order.
Bradley Ashton-Fearnley, aged 50 and residing on Manningham Lane in Bradford, was taken into custody earlier in January by officers from the Bradford District Public Protection Unit.
During the arrest, all of his electronic devices were seized for forensic examination.
Investigators uncovered multiple indecent images stored on his devices, along with communications in which he requested such images from others.
The evidence clearly demonstrated his involvement in the production and distribution of illegal content involving minors.
Throughout the court proceedings, Ashton-Fearnley did not contest the charges and accepted responsibility for all allegations brought against him.
In response to his guilty plea, the court imposed an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, which aims to restrict his access to minors and prevent further offending.
Additionally, he was ordered to pay costs amounting to £228.
