July 2011 Paedo blocks victim’s mum over divorce A TWISTED paedophile who sexually abused his wife’s daughter is blocking her divorce bid. Convicted beast Billy Mount has told disgusted missus Helen he will only agree to the legal split if she does NOT cite molesting her girl Claire as a reason. Mount, 66, of Alloa, Clackmannanshire, was last week released early from his seven-year jail term for abusing a young girl from the age of just 12. And he is continuing to terrorise 62-year-old Helen and Claire, now 31, by refusing to grant a quickie divorce. Claire, who bravely waived her right to anonymity, said: “He’s got a cheek asking mum to accept a no-blame divorce. “He’s a monster and he’s totally sick. He should set my mum free so we can start to forget him.” Helen said evil Mount “is still trying to control her” after being subjected to years of living in fear of him. At first she stuck by the monster when the abuse emerged — and fell out with Claire for years as a result. Helen said: “I can’t believe what he did to my family. “I was so much in his power that I failed to protect my daughter from him, then failed to support her when the abuse emerged. “He had a hold over me and I was scared of him.” But she eventually plucked up the courage to ditch the fiend during a jail visit. Helen said: “He told me the betrayal wasn’t so bad because in some cultures it was acceptable to have sex with your daughter. I just got up and walked out.” Terrified Helen said she then fled her home in Clackmannanshire after Mount warned his friends he would take revenge. She revealed she’s been granted an interdict — with power of arrest — to stop Mount approaching her after he penned a letter claiming he knew where she lived. Helen, who’s recovering from cancer treatment, says she has heard freed Mount plans to settle back in the area. But Claire, who has patched things up with her mum, vowed to make sure people know how dangerous Mount is. She said: “Nothing is beyond him. I was 12 when he started on me. He was violent and totally ruthless. Children won’t be safe around him.”
