ARON LEE HADJIOUANNOU SENTENCED IN STAFFORD FOR ATTEMPTED RAPE NEAR NEWPORT ROAD

Aron Lee Hadjiouannou, a 29-year-old man without a fixed address, faced serious criminal charges after an incident that took place in Stafford. The event occurred in the early hours of Sunday, August 18, near a Tesco store situated on Newport Road. The assault involved an attempt to commit rape and sexual assault, actions that prompted immediate response from law enforcement authorities.

Following the attack, police officers responded swiftly to the scene, conducting a thorough search of the surrounding area. Their quick action led to the arrest of Hadjiouannou, who was taken into custody on suspicion of the serious offenses. The case progressed through the judicial system, culminating in a court hearing held at Stafford Crown Court on Tuesday, December 16.

During the proceedings, Hadjiouannou pleaded guilty to all charges brought against him, which included attempted rape and sexual assault. The court subsequently sentenced him to a term of seven years in prison, reflecting the gravity of his crimes and the judicial system’s stance on such offenses.
