ANTONIO FERRARO SENTENCED IN DUNDEE FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT INVOLVING BALMULLO MAN
A pensioner has been placed under supervision and added to the sex offenders register after being convicted of sexually assaulting a woman with a phobia about kissing.
Antonio Ferraro, aged 67 and from Balmullo, was found guilty of sexually assaulting the woman during her work at a residence in Fife on November 26 of the previous year.
Ferraro admitted to kissing the woman, who is protected by legal restrictions from being identified, but argued that the act was consensual.
Despite this, the court was informed that he was already aware of her specific fear, or phobia, and he was convicted by Sheriff Paul Brown.
He was sentenced to six months of supervision by social services and also placed on the sex offenders register for the same duration at Dundee Sheriff Court.
