GUARDBRIDGE PAEDOPHILE CHARGED WITH SENDING A CHILD INDECENT IMAGES AND TEXTS

On 20 August 2014, it was announced that a man would face a trial at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Scott Niven, aged 23 and residing on Motray Crescent in Guardbridge, has denied allegations that between 4 and 18 March, he sent a child text messages of a sexual nature.

He also rejects the accusation that he transmitted a sexual image to the same child.

The trial is scheduled for 1 September, following a preparatory hearing set for 29 August.
