September 2021 Depraved Nantwich paedophile abused toddlers and kids ‘over long period of time’ A horrific paedophile from Cheshire has been jailed after he sexually abused very young four children over a period of seven years. Anthony Hulme, of London Road, Nantwich, physically and sexually assaulted two boys and two girls between 1981 and 1988. The 57-year-old’s hideous abuse took place in Winsford as well as other locations in Cheshire and the UK. Two of the victims were aged two and three when he sexually assaulted them. He assaulted a third victim from the age of eight until they were in their late teens and another for ‘a number of years’ from when they were nine-years-old. Hulme was found guilty of two counts of gross indecency with a girl under 14 years of age and six counts of gross indecency with a boy under the age of 14. He was also convicted of committing buggery with a boy under the age of 16, two counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16 and two counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14. The trial took place over eight days at Chester Crown Court and he was sentenced to 22 years in prison on Friday, September 3. Hulme will also serve two further years on prison licence.
