Angela Roe, a woman from Preston, became the center of a disturbing animal cruelty case that drew widespread condemnation and attention.

The incident involved the live streaming of her abusing her pet cat, Misty, which ultimately led to the cat's tragic death.

On August 26, 2017, a friend of Roe, who had become an online acquaintance, witnessed a distressing scene during a live broadcast on Twitter's Periscope platform.

The footage showed Roe sitting with her cat Misty on her lap, during which she was seen squeezing and shaking the animal violently.

Roe was heard shouting at Misty, calling her a 'psycho' and making threatening remarks about not biting the hand that feeds her.

In a particularly disturbing moment, Roe was seen biting Misty’s ear, causing the cat to scream in pain.
