ANDREW REEKIE JAILED FOR SHOCKING SEX ATTACK IN YORKSHIRE
A man named Andrew Reekie has been sentenced to prison following a brutal and deeply humiliating sexual assault on a young woman at a property in Harrogate, Yorkshire.The court was told that the incident left the victim feeling haunted and emotionally shattered by what prosecutors described as an 'absolutely disgusting' attack.
According to the evidence presented at York Crown Court, the young woman was subjected to a distressing assault where she attempted to defend herself by kicking Reekie off and begged him to stop, saying 'get off.' Despite her pleas, Reekie reportedly told her she 'wouldn’t dare call the police,' a remark that highlights the coercive and threatening nature of the assault.

She vividly described the haunting aftermath, saying, 'The sound of his voice will continue to play in my head.
It was like a knife in my guts.' The psychological scars have left her with nightmares, often reliving her terrifying experience, and she finds it impossible to eat or sleep properly.
The nightmares also extend to fears that other women may become victims, intensifying her anxiety.
The woman shared that reporting the attack only worsened her feelings of shame, contributing to severe mental health problems.
Her ordeal has had a significant impact on her daily life, affecting her ability to work and socialise.
She described feeling 'traumatised' at the thought of having to give evidence in court, which added to her emotional distress.
