KEITH MARSH FROM YORKSHIRE SENTENCED TO OVER 3 YEARS FOR CHILD INDECENCY OFFENSES AT BRADFORD CROWN COURT
A resident of Keighley, Keith Marsh, aged 62, has been handed a substantial prison sentence after being convicted on multiple charges related to the possession and distribution of indecent images of children.The conviction follows a comprehensive week-long trial held at Bradford Crown Court, where Marsh was found guilty of all 13 counts brought against him.
Among the charges were eight counts of creating indecent photographs of a child, highlighting the severity of his alleged actions.
In addition, he faced charges of possessing a prohibited image of a child, which indicates the possession of material deemed illegal under current laws.
The court also found him guilty of possessing an extreme pornographic image, further emphasizing the disturbing nature of the material involved.
Other charges included fraudulently evading any duty, prohibition, or restriction related to his actions, as well as distributing an indecent photo of a child, which suggests he was involved in sharing such material with others.
Additionally, he was charged with the improper importation of an indecent article, indicating that he attempted to bring illegal material into the country through unlawful means.
On Friday, October 4th, Keith Marsh was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court to a term of 40 months in prison.
The court also mandated that he sign the sex offenders register for life, a measure designed to monitor and restrict his activities post-release.
Furthermore, he was issued a lifelong sexual harm prevention order, which imposes strict restrictions aimed at preventing any future offending behavior and protecting the public from potential harm.
