June 2016 Keynsham man jailed for making over 350 indecent images of children A Keynsham man has been jailed for a year after pleading guilty to making more than 350 indecent images of children. Andrew Hicks, 44, was charged with making 368 such images and four indecent films of children at his home in Temple Street between January 2007 and July 2015. Of the images he allegedly made, 103 are the most serious Category A, 35 Category B and 234 Category C. Hicks was also charged with distributing four Category C indecent photographs of children to four separate Skype users between December 2013 and March 2014. Hicks was sentenced to a year in prison when he appeared at Bristol Crown Court yesterday (Monday, June 6). He was also handed an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) banning him from unchecked internet use.
