In a case that has drawn significant attention, Amudat Popoola, aged 50, and Yaodele Salami, aged 48, both healthcare professionals based in Dagenham, faced legal proceedings after an incident at Newham University Hospital. The two individuals, who served as a midwife and a healthcare assistant respectively, were found to have shown colleagues a disturbing video depicting child sexual abuse. They claimed that their intention was purely educational, aiming to illustrate the heinous nature of such material and to warn against its dangers.
