ALFONSO SICILIA ESCAPES JAIL IN WOLVERHAMPTON FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY AND VOYEURISM
In February 2008, Alfonso Sicilia, a 47-year-old former British Gas employee from Hordern Grove, Whitmore Reans, was handed a community order by Wolverhampton Crown Court after admitting to child pornography offences and voyeurism.
Sicilia had surreptitiously filmed children at Tettenhall Pool, located on Upper Green, while they were enjoying a day out.
He also used video cameras to peer into the windows of nearby homes to capture images of youngsters.
Additionally, the court heard that Sicilia filmed himself molesting a woman while she was sleeping.
The police and Department for Work and Pensions officials conducted a raid on Sicilia’s house regarding a separate matter, during which they discovered the disturbing images.
The evidence included footage of children at the popular family swimming spot and approximately 700 images of child pornography.
