June 2018 Kilwinning man admits child abuse images charges A Kilwinning man has admitted possessing hundreds of child sexual abuse images Alfie Stewart pled guilty to two charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week. Stewart committed the offences at his home in Pollock Crescent on February 6 of this year. The 22-year-old took or permitted to be taken or made indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children. He also had indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children in his possession. The children featured in the images were aged from two and 15 years old and covered all levels of indecency included the most serious which shows the rape or torture of children Sentence was deferred for the court to obtain a Criminal Justice Social Work Report, a Restriction of Liberty Assessment and a Risk Assessment on Stewart. Stewart was bailed and will return to the court in July to hear his fate.
