LONDON NURSE JAILED FOR MURDERING JEALOUS LOVER
Aiah Tondoneh, a psychiatric nurse based in Kilburn, North West London, was found guilty of murder after killing Donna Drepaul, aged 50, in a fit of jealousy.
Tondoneh poured petrol over her and set her alight inside her residence in Finsbury Park, North London.
It was revealed that Donna had chosen to end her relationship with Tondoneh because of his possessive and jealous behavior.
During the trial at the Old Bailey, Tondoneh confessed to the killing.
The presiding judge, Mr Justice Nicol, sentenced him to life in prison, commenting that the injuries inflicted on Donna resembled something from a horror film.
Donna was later described as appearing “zombie-like” when she approached police officers after suffering severe burns, and she passed away two days thereafter.
