ADAM HASANI'S BRUTAL CRUELTY IN CHESHUNT AND STRATFORD: KITTENS SUFFER SEVERE INJURIES
Adam Ahmed Hasani, born on January 4, 1990, and residing at Napier Court, Flamstead End Road, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross EN8 0JD, has been convicted of heinous acts of animal cruelty involving two innocent kittens. His actions, which took place near Stratford, resulted in severe injuries and the tragic death of one of the animals, highlighting a disturbing case of neglect and violence.Hasani, a former airline steward and waiter, inflicted brutal trauma on two young cats, causing injuries so severe that veterinary professionals had no choice but to euthanize one of the animals. The first victim, a tabby kitten named Simba, was brought to the Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Pimlico on June 8, 2020, with a suspected broken jaw. When questioned about how the injury occurred, Hasani claimed that Simba had fallen from some cupboards. The kitten was discharged after two days of treatment, but within a week, Simba sustained further injuries. Hasani returned to the same veterinary facility, asserting that Simba had hit his head on a cooker. Upon examination, vets found head injuries that appeared suspicious, prompting them to report the case to the RSPCA. Due to the severity of Simba’s injuries, the decision was made to euthanize him.
Later that year, on October 9, Hasani brought another kitten, a ginger and white male named Biscuit, to the same hospital for treatment. When asked about the cause of Biscuit’s injuries, Hasani explained that he had been attempting to bathe the kitten after it had excreted on his bed. He claimed that Biscuit jumped out of the bath, and he had tried to retrieve her. The veterinarian discovered that Biscuit had a dislocated sternum along with multiple other injuries, which were believed to have been inflicted during the same incident. Once again, the injuries were reported to the RSPCA. During police interviews, Hasani insisted that any harm caused to the kittens was “not done on purpose or maliciously,” but he admitted that he “should have known better.”
Following these events, Hasani faced legal proceedings and pleaded guilty to two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. The court acknowledged that he had been “emotionally tortured,” and emphasized that his actions did not stem from sadistic intent. Nonetheless, magistrates determined that his conduct constituted a series of offences against two defenseless animals, crossing the threshold for custodial sentence. As a result, Hasani was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison, along with an unspecified ban on owning animals in the future.
Currently, Adam Hasani is believed to be residing at 63 Alexander Road, Tollington, Islington, London N19 4JN, raising concerns about ongoing animal welfare issues and the importance of accountability for such disturbing acts of cruelty.
