BIRMINGHAM MAN SENTENCED TO OVER FIVE YEARS FOR SERIOUS OFFENCE
A man has been sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court to more than five years in prison after being convicted of a serious offence.The defendant, Adam Davy, was found guilty of rape following proceedings on 29 November 2024.
The court handed down a total custodial sentence of 123 months for this and other offences, with the man required to serve a minimum of 61 months before becoming eligible for release on licence.
Sentence Details The judge explained that the sentence was a standard determinate sentence.
This means the offender will automatically be released at the halfway point but will remain under licence supervision until the end of the full sentence period.
According to official documents, the man’s conditional release date has been set for June 2030, with licence supervision continuing until June 2031.
His full sentence expiry date is recorded as December 2031.
