ZOE/ GEOFFREY PARKER FROM BLETCHLEY INVOLVED IN CHILD PROSTITUTION RING AND SEXUAL OFFENCES

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Bletchley, a woman named Zoe Parker, aged 48, from Dodkin, was found guilty of encouraging a young girl to enter into a child prostitution ring. Despite the gravity of her actions, Parker was spared immediate imprisonment when the judge, Justice Griffiths, sentenced her to a two-year prison term that was suspended for two years.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Zoe Parker had actively persuaded and facilitated a 10-year-old girl to engage in prostitution. The judge condemned her actions, stating, “What you did was wicked and you richly deserved to be sent to prison. You will carry the guilt for what you did, I doubt not.” However, citing her responsibilities towards her disabled daughter and other children, Justice Griffiths decided to impose a suspended sentence, allowing her to avoid immediate incarceration.

Meanwhile, the case also involved five men, including Parker’s husband, Geoffrey Parker. These individuals appeared before Northampton Crown Court, where they received a combined total of 13 years in prison for various sexual offences committed against the same young girl. The girl, who was between the ages of 9 and 14 during the period of abuse, was subjected to a series of heinous acts that included forced prostitution, sexual assault, and exploitation.

Two other men, identified as Savvas Gregoriou and Douglas Stanley Gill, both from Northampton, were also implicated in the case. The court heard detailed accounts over a five-day trial, describing how the girl had been coerced into prostitution at just 10 years old, a year after she had been sexually abused by multiple men. The abuse extended further, with her being forced to pose for indecent photographs and to participate in sexual acts with an adult female while men took photographs of the acts.

Tragically, the court also learned that one of the offenders, whose identity was linked to the case through police investigations, committed suicide by placing his head on a railway track. He died three days after police discovered indecent images of children in his Northampton residence. The police identified the other offenders and the victim through these images, which played a crucial role in the investigation and subsequent convictions.

This case highlights the disturbing extent of child exploitation and the efforts of law enforcement to bring those responsible to justice, even as it leaves a lasting scar on the community of Bletchley.
