YVONNE RENTON'S SHOCKING CRIME IN GILLINGHAM: UNDERAGE SEX SCANDAL UNVEILED

In a case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Gillingham, Kent, Yvonne Renton, a 39-year-old local businesswoman, was sentenced to a total of 18 months in prison after being found guilty of engaging in sexual activities with two teenage boys. The conviction was handed down at Maidstone Crown Court following a five-day trial that revealed disturbing details about her misconduct.

Renton, who resides on Tufton Road in Gillingham, faced serious charges including having sex with a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old boy. The court heard that her actions not only involved sexual relations but also included intimidation tactics aimed at silencing her victims. As part of her sentence, she was ordered to register as a sex offender and was permanently barred from working with children, reflecting the severity of her offenses.

Throughout the trial, Renton, who has been married twice, maintained her innocence, denying all allegations. Despite her protests, the evidence presented was compelling enough to secure her conviction. The judge sentenced her to nine months for indecent assault and an additional nine months for intimidation, emphasizing the gravity of her breach of trust.

Detective Sergeant Tony Cannon of Kent Police commented on the case, stating, “Yvonne Renton abused the trust of those placed in her care. She pursued and took advantage of two vulnerable teenagers.”

Details emerged during the proceedings that Renton, then aged 35, had paid the two boys, who were 14 and 15 at the time, ten pounds each to assist her in setting up bouncy castles for her children’s entertainment business, which she has since sold. The court was told that the older victim, now 19, claimed that their sexual encounters occurred approximately three to four times a week. When he attempted to end the relationship, Renton allegedly threatened to overdose or claimed she was pregnant.

Further allegations revealed that Renton had initiated a relationship with the 14-year-old boy after the mother of the older boy confronted her. It was claimed that Renton told the younger boy she was pregnant and had undergone an abortion, adding to the disturbing nature of her actions.

Yvonne Renton is also a mother, with an 11-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son. She is currently estranged from their father, adding personal complexity to the case. Her criminal conduct has not only brought her legal consequences but also significant social repercussions within the Gillingham community.
