YUSEF KHAN BANNED FROM ALL BRISTOL COFFEE SHOPS AFTER EXPOSING HIMSELF IN COSTA AND STARBUCKS
In a series of disturbing incidents that have shocked the community in Bristol, 67-year-old Yusef Khan has been effectively barred from every coffee establishment across the city following his inappropriate and illegal behavior. It all began at the Costa Coffee branch located within the Cribbs Causeway shopping centre, where Mr.
Khan was observed engaging in lewd acts by exposing himself to customers.
Witnesses reported seeing him perform these indecent acts in full view of other patrons, an incident that drew immediate concern and alarm from those present.
Subsequently, while awaiting sentencing for his initial offense, Mr.
Khan committed a further breach of public decency.
He was caught exposing himself again, this time to two 15-year-old girls inside a Starbucks store.
This second incident compounded the seriousness of his actions and heightened the community's fears about his behavior.
Yusef Khan, a resident of Stapleton in Bristol, was charged and pleaded guilty to the charge of exposure.
His court appearance at Bristol Crown Court resulted in a six-month prison sentence, which was suspended for two years.
This means that while he was sentenced to prison, he will not serve time unless he commits another offense within the suspension period.
During his arrest, Mr.
Khan told police that he did not derive sexual gratification from his acts, but he acknowledged that he could understand how his behavior might offend others.
His defense attorney, Jonathan Stanniland, argued for the continuation of his client's sex offender treatment program, emphasizing that rehabilitation efforts could help prevent future incidents.
Mr.
Stanniland stated, “The best thing is that he is rewired not to do it again,” suggesting that with proper intervention, Mr.
Khan might avoid repeating such conduct in the future.
Nonetheless, the community remains deeply concerned about the safety and well-being of its residents, especially young teenagers, in light of these events.
