MOTHER CHARGED WITH THE BRUTAL MURDER OF THREE CHILDREN IN BRISTOL
A 43-year-old mum has been charged with the murder of her three young children after they were found dead in a house.Yasmeen Ali is accused of murdering seven-year-old Fares Bash, three-year-old Joury Bash and nine-month-old Mohammed Bash.
All three died in February 2024 after an incident in Blaise Walk in the Bristol suburb of Sea Mills.
Forensic post-mortem examinations revealed they all died of knife injuries.
Ali remains in the care of mental health services, and she will appear in court at a later date, the police force said.
The Crown Prosecution Service has decided to prosecute Yasmeen Ali for three counts of murder, following a police investigation into the deaths.
The inquest indicated injuries to their chests and necks, with Fares Bash showing signs of asphyxia.
The children's father, Alfil Bash, attended the inquest opening and expressed devastation at their loss.
