PERVERT WHO INDECENTLY ASSAULTED GIRL IS SPARED PRISON
A pervert who indecently assaulted a girl when she was 14 has been spared jail.
William Davey, 41, from South Crofty Way, Pool, near Camborne, appeared at Truro Crown Court on Friday, November 14, for sentencing, having pleaded guilty to one charge of inciting a girl under 14 to commit an act of gross indecency and four counts of indecent assaults on a girl under the age of 14.
The charges relate to incidents dating back more than 20 years which happened in west Cornwall.
Davey was sentenced by His Honour Judge Simon Carr to a community order, 300 hours of unpaid work which he must complete within 12 months.
He will be on the sex offenders register for five years.
