March 2014 Jail for Halesowen sex fiend A 50-year-old Halesowen man, who made a string of sex attacks on a young schoolgirl, has been jailed for two years. Wayne Harper, of Long Lane, was also made the subject of a five year sexual offender’s prevention order and must register as a sex offender for 10 years. Harper had denied three charges of sexual assault but was convicted by a jury following his trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
